MLC Constructors, Inc., is located in Southern California and is a public works construction and general contracting firm that was founded by three long time co-workers Jim McCoy, Ernie Castellon, and Tom Luby. While the Founders have been in the construction industry for some time, it was in June of 2020 that the team decided to launch MLC Constructors, Inc. Specifically, during this time, Jim, Ernie and Tom met with their current employer to present an offer to purchase the existing business. When those negotiations were not successful, the team met to discuss the possibility of starting a new business. After discussing the business at length and analyzing the current market conditions, the team understood that there was a scarcity of reputable contractors in the industry and operating a general contracting construction business with a focus on service, would enjoy significant success.
